Shaolin Culture

At the beginning of January Shifu Heng Yi, Koh, Gio and I went to L’ecole Cleonnaise de boxe Chinoise www.ecbcweb.com in France for a Charity event to raise money for people with disabilities.

Everyone trained together, they practice Wu Shu and taught us some of their forms and weapon training and Shifu Heng Yi gave their students some Traditional Shaolin and Qi Gong training.

It was really interesting and we all got on extremely well, it’s a great club with lovely students and instructors. We look forward to welcoming them to England in the near future.

Monday was the first day back after the Christmas break and we were pleased to see some new faces, welcome to them and good to see the oldies too.

We’ll be having a workshop for the second part of the Tiger form in the next few weeks, so you had better get practicing the first part so as to make the most of it. Don’t forget it’s the year of the Tiger (that’s me) and it’s going to be a great one!
