On SATURDAY 28TH APRIL the Student's Personal Reviews are being held for all levels. This is a chance for you to have your skills personally reviewed by Shi Fu. The Reviews will be held at the Bromley Reform Church next to Boots (the usual Saturday hall).

There will be no class on SATURDAY 7TH APRIL due to the Easter Service at the Church. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. All other classes are running as usual.

The Vitality Show is a chance for Shaolin Culture to perform in front of a large audience, have fun and promote tai chi.
We have around 8 passes. Those that are interested in coming to the event, please leave phone numbers and e-mail addresses with Andy - it's a huge free of charge well-being expo and a great family fun day for all, only travel expenses and food costs apply.

Sunday 17th December 2006:
The end-of-the-year Party was a resounding success with lots of money being raised for charity and all students and guests coming away happy. We wish you all a wonderful time over the holiday period and are looking forward to seeing you back at class on 8th Jan 07. We still are have self-training classes available from Club Room Wednesdays 20/27 Dec 06 and 3rd Jan 07 for 2 hours 7-9pm. Also Youth Centre Fridays 22/29 Dec 06 and 5th Jan 07 for 3 hours 7-10pm (fees are £5.00 for adults and child £2) for cost of hall.
Shifu advises every student to come along and practice so they are ready for 2007...!
Friday 10th November 2006:
We will not be having a Tai Chi workshop this year as previously advertised due to a lack of venues, so we will have to reschedule this for 2007.
On the bright side, our end-of-year Party will be held on 16th Dec 06 1pm - 6pm (Bromley United Church).
9th December exam results will be given back to students and food / refreshments will be available for all.
Classes will end on 15th Dec 06 and will be held in the Club Room instead of Youth Centre. Times the same as usual. We will re-open on 8th Jan 07. Friday 20th October 2006:
A new FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section has been added to the website. If you have any other questions for inclusion, please speak to Shifu. Also, the China Trip 2006 photos have finally been added to the Gallery. Sadly, we were only able to include 32 out of the 2500 submitted. Friday 20th October 2006:
The school is having an admin meeting in the Bromley Parish Church tomorrow afternoon (after lessons). All who are interested can attend 3-4pm. Saturday 7th October 2006:
Today's Sanshou workshop was really enjoyed by everyone who attended. We will have some pictures soon. Please do not forget the next workshop on 4th November: 11am - 3pm Stick Applications/Forms.

Students are reminded that the Shaolin Monks Kung Fu Masters Live show has come back to the Peacock Theatre for the period of 4 - 29 October 2006. Sunday 24th September 2006:
There will be a workshop on 7th October for all students: 11am - 3pm Sanshou/Self Defence
Techniques. We will also have a Stick Applications/Forms Workshop on the 4th November 11am - 3pm and a Tai Chi Workshop before our last end of year exams, but the date for this is yet to be confirmed. We will keep you all posted. Sunday 24th September 2006:

Shi Xiong Shi Heng Yi is in China an we would all like to wish him the best on the K-Star Competition. Shifu Yang and the members of the school that went with him are also still there and should be coming back to the UK soon. Monday 14th August 2006:
With the upcoming Trip to China at the end of this week, those travellers who did not attend the Meeting on 4th August are advised to download the notes from it to be aware of what to expect during the trip. Have fun and remember to take many pictures for the website.

All payments and visas for the China trip have now been finalised, thank you. Please remember that while Shifu and students who are going to China are away on 18 Aug - 4 Sep, the classes will continue running as usual for the rest of the school.

The Shaolin Stick Class yesterday was a success with everyone enjoying themselves tremendously. Have a look at some photos in the Gallery.

There will be a workshop on 1st July for all students. 11am - 1pm is Tai Chi Pushing Hands and Application and 1-3pm is Shaolin Stick Form (Yin Shou Gun). Also, be aware that another Grading exam is planned for the 12th August. Thursday 15th June 2006:

We will have a special Stick Class on Saturday 24th June 1-3pm (other classes as usual) and then a Stick Class every Friday from 30 June, 9-10pm. Learning Shaolin Stick will enable the student to concentrate on co-ordination, flexibility and movements. If not sure about the timings, consult the Class Timetable or ask Shifu.

REMINDER - SATURDAY 3RD JUNE 2006: We will have classes from 11am - 3pm Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Shaolin Kung fu and an extra hour for Sanshou (fighting techique). All students are welcome to come along and train whenever they can and we have added Qi Gong into the timetable (Wednesdays) to help students that cannot attend our Saturday day time class. Shaolin Culture has been chosen to act as the UK point of entry for K-Star, the First Global Chinese Kung Fu Star Competition. All UK Martial Artists wishing to attend the European regional heats in Germany 21-25 May 2006 must register through Shifu Yang. The finals will held in the Shaolin Temple.
Wednesday 15th March 2006:
Students are asked to provide feedback to Shifu or Andy about their learning experiences and the benefits they feel from practising Kung Fu, Chi Gong and Tai Chi. These will be included on the Students page.
Also, don't forget to complete your School Membership form and read the School Rules attached.

The last class this year will be on Friday 16th December (the day before the last workshop). Class is due to start again on the 6th of January, but this may change so be sure to check back here to make certain. The new location of the school will be posted on the site as soon as possible! BR2 0EG They will run from 11am until 3pm teaching kung fu, tai chi and chi gung exercises. This is a prefect opportunity to boost your training and also get to know more of your fellow students. Tuesday 29th November 2005:
