Qi Xing Quan (Seven Stars Fist) Workshop 6th June 2010
Dear all,

Shaolin Culture will be holding a Workshop on Sunday the 6th June 2010, teaching, for the first time the Traditional Shaolin Form Qi Xing Quan.
This form gets its name from the constellation known as Qi Xing Bei Dou (Known in the west as the “big dipper”) and runs a footwork pattern akin to the star formation. The form is concise, with short range attacking and defensive postures, much can be attained from the practice of this form including further development of waist power and leg strength.
The workshop will take place on Sunday the 6th of June at the Walnuts Leisure Centre (details available online) from 12pm until 4pm (4 Hours) all levels are welcome.
Costs; £50 Adults
£30 Children
(Concessions available for fulltime students and over 65′s)
Traditional forms are a staple practice within the Shaolin curriculum, and not only enhance ones physical fitness and many other facets of external development, but also develop the mind further allowing the student to gain a more confident disciplined approach to lifestyle situations.
