A Young Warrior

At 5 1/2 years old our Son Conor was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, otherwise known as high functioning autism. We had tried to get Conor interested in other sports without success and so started looking for a good martial arts school and eventually found Shaolin Culture.

That was just over 18 months ago and the progress has been amazing. The instructors are very patient and do not mind that it takes Conor a month to learn what others manage in one lesson. Conor is treated no different to any other student and is certainly no stranger to the punishment stance or press ups!

The benefits of Kung Fu for children with poor co-ordination are immense, it has also improved his concentration and social awareness. Conor attends as often as he can, four or five times a week in the holidays! As parents we can only watch in awe at the progress.

Conor adds;- “I Really like the instructors and the students are very helpful. I especially like stick on Sundays and the kick boxing classes!”
